Exquisite Care Exclusively Designed for You

Elancé at Sarasota focuses on independence and resident involvement. All residents whether completely independent or needing assistance, are encouraged to take an active part in activities and their daily care. Residents at Elancé at Sarasota receive the care they need and have the freedom to make daily choices.

A sense of freedom begins even before moving into Elancé at Sarasota. There are no exorbitant entrance fees for joining our community and a very reasonable monthly rent includes all amenities. Residents have a choice of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom apartments, or large villas.

Levels of care can be adjusted to provide more or less support depending on your needs at any given time. Our team collaborates with your physicians to provide care. We can also discuss available physicians if you're new to the area or looking for more in-home care options instead of having to leave home.

Independent Living

This program is designed for residents who require no nursing services and is based on a recent History and Physical plus a nursing assessment done at the time of admission. Independent residents have a choice of studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartments, or large on-campus villas. Independent Living apartment rental fees include:

  • Weekly housekeeping
  • All utilities
  • Life enrichment program
  • Scheduled transportation
  • Convenience of an on-site salon
  • Convenience of on-site therapy

Assisted Living

Elancé at Sarasota determines each resident's Care Level based on their own Physician's History and Physical report, our free Nursing Assessment, and the state of Florida Uniform Assessment Instrument (1823). You can call or visit our Community for more details and to get an estimate of which level of care you or your loved one may need. Based on an assessment of your needs, we help you choose a level of care designed just for you:

  • Level A - Introductory Level of Assistance
  • Level I - Minimum Assistance
  • Level II - Moderate Assistance
  • Level III - Extended Assistance
  • Level IV - Highest Level of Assistance

Respite Stay

Whether you need a short-term stay while recovering from surgery or considering a move to a more social atmosphere, we are here to help. Our communities provide experienced professional respite care with all amenities of home.

Recovery

After a hospital or rehab stay, respite care can be a helpful stepping-stone between the hospital and living at home independently. If you feel you are not quite ready to return home, our specialty-trained staff will provide compassionate care, monitor your health situation, and give you personalized assistance during your recuperation.

Considering a Move

If you are considering moving to a senior living community, a respite or short-term stay provides you with a great opportunity to give our community a try. You will be able to experience first-hand the benefits of living in our community and see if we are a good fit for your senior living needs.
  • Respite rate is all-inclusive of rent, amenities, level of care
  • Unit comes fully furnished
  • Community fee is waived
  • 30, 60, or 90 day stay options

Rehab Recovery

We understand that rehabilitation is a very personal journey. Our interdisciplinary team and partners are here to help you through each step of the way. Both our wellness and therapy teams as well as our attending and consulting physicians work together to create an individualized care plan to meet your needs. From daily tasks to continued clinical care needs our professionally trained, clinical staff strive to strengthen and prepare you to return home safely and as quickly as possible. Physical, speech and occupational therapies are available on-site for scheduled therapy services.

PT - Physical Therapy

Therapy for the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function. After a disease, injury, or disability, physical therapists utilize exercise, manual therapy, assistive devices, patient education and training to increase safety and independence.

OT - Occupational Therapy

Therapy for those recuperating from illness that encourages the performance of activities required in daily life. Through therapeutic engagement in daily activities, occupational therapists maximize independence in activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene grooming, cooking and medication management.

ST - Speech Therapy

Training to help people with communication, swallowing or cognitive difficulties. This dynamic offers increased safety and consistency among all caregivers.
